In a countryside town bordering on a magical land, a young man makes a promise to his beloved that he’ll retrieve a fallen star by venturing into the magical realm.
This adaptation is much better than the book in almost all ways. I wish the timeline were a little longer than a week and it would be much more believable.
Fun plays on tropes – an airship captain who crossdresses and is obsessed with the mundane world, a young man who crosses into a magical realm and makes it home but gets a surprise delivery nine months later and becomes a single father, princes who are expected to kill each other for the throne.
