I learned about the different styles and size classes of dahlias, and was blown away by the color coded index of varieties at the back. This includes instructions with useful photos showing how to dig up, separate dahlias, and store them, as well as growing instructions. The only time I tried growing dahlias deer ate them immediately but I might be game to try again!
Also included are sample flower arrangements for inspiration of how to combine dahlias with other varieties and types of foliage and filler. They overbrim with the same exuberance as the individual flowers have. The color palettes are simple but they are rich with texture and subtle tones.
