- Medlar – small tree with apple butter flavored fruits
- Stone pine – grow your own pine nuts! – don’t expect crops for ten years
- Chokeberry
- Grapes – Interlocken, Himrod, Canadis (sp?) – only need one plant
- Comfrey – supportive medicinal but spreads
- Wintergreen – evergreen
