Rituals are an important way we process events, and even if you’re skeptical, the act of following a ritual and treating your cards with respect and significance can be change how we perceive the world (and transform it).
I don’t think tarot can really predict the future but think it could be a fun way to randomly provoke meaning-making thoughts to see what arises with surprise prompts and dig into what you’re thinking about.
