NaNoWriMo 2021: Day Sixteen

Spent about 125 minutes writing, including three 30-minute hourglasses of focused time. Added 1500 new words.

Thought I was going to finish the book so I pushed through till after 11 (I try to get off screens at 10), but finally had to admit that I wasn’t going to get there.

Spent twenty minutes messing around with an epilogue that isn’t going to work. I keep going back and forth on an epilogue — I know something big happens at the start of the second book, so I could set that up, but then will I be missing out on the reveal in that book? And locking myself into a plotline that I’m pretty sure will happen but not 100% positive (not having written it)? Ah, decisions, decisions.
