He doesn’t do relationships. She doesn’t do flings. Everything they thought is about to unravel…
This was cute and sweet, with a minimum of drama (though I was a little irritated by the finale problem).
Pretty short, just over novella length, so not a lot of room for complications. It felt like a good length. I think it also could have been told longer, but it worked as it is too.
Loved the frank disability representation and discussion. The rope play and podcast interviews felt a little too much like the author was trying to educate readers about safe bondage, but honestly better to err on that side than spread harmful information like 50 Shades of Gray apparently did. The only other book I can recall reading with rope play is Christina Lauren’s Dirty Rowdy Thing which seemed less safety-focused than this book, though I don’t know enough to say whether it had anything bad.
