Loved the frank disability representation and discussion. The rope play and podcast interviews felt a little too much like the author was trying to educate readers about safe bondage, but honestly better to err on that side than spread harmful information like 50 Shades of Gray apparently did. The only other book I can recall reading with rope play is Christina Lauren’s Dirty Rowdy Thing which seemed less safety-focused than this book, though I don’t know enough to say whether it had anything bad.
