Weeknotes: Dec 10-16 2022

Stuff I did this week

  • worked on my book for 8.25 hours and wrote 2386 words
  • started a plan for writing the remainder of the book
  • reorganized the book’s plot, eliminating ten scenes (only one already written, and half salvageable!) while adding two new
  • took Saturday and Sunday off creative work — did a little work on the book today because I didn’t want to lose my spot from where I left off yesterday
  • started working on my personal annual review process
  • got down to zero tabs open on my phone browser 💪
  • three specialist appointments 🙄 really messing up my schedule man
  • did a small freelance writing job
  • walked with a friend twice 💪

Reading

  • finished reading Ducks by Kate Beaton and Rest is Resistance by Tricia Hersey
  • re-read Alpha Night by Nalini Singh and Choosing Theo by Victoria Aveline
  • still reading The 12 Week Year for Writers by Trevor Thrall
  • added 19 books to my TBR — curse you end-of-year lists!

Website changes

  • updated the widgets on my blog’s sidebar and footer
